Why a Blog?

I think that, especially in academia, writing is extremely important at all levels. Despite academic writing being a skill on its own, the underlying purpose of crystallizing thoughts while being minimal and highly informative is extremely fascinating to me.

On a side note, my decision to have a blog is to force myself to write more, and improve my writing skills!

Content ideas

I plan to write about:

  1. Research: research directions I find very interesting, about the works I read, reflections on my own work;
  2. Technical results: algorithms, and proofs that I truly find amazing;
  3. General thoughts: it could be academic life, or more broad topics 🙂
